Net4things was present at the BNEW – Barcelona New Economy Week congress, an event organized by the Barcelona Free Trade Zone, with conferences, workshops and talks on Sustainability, Real Estate, Talent, Mobility, etc. Our colleague Fran Rodríguez, CRO of Net4things, participated in the round table “Digital and collaborative platforms for citizen Mobility” which was moderated by Bibiana Rodriguez. Fran Rodriguez stressed the need to accelerate the transition towards a connected mobility and the great advantages and competitive differentiation that Spain will acquire by connecting its entire automobile fleet.
Fran also reflected on how insurers will consider what the residual value of electric cars is as we do not know how much that car will be worth in 3 or 5 years. An aspect that many of us had not taken into account. As he explained, it is complex right now to establish a rate for that electric vehicle. There is still a lot of uncertainty and unanswerable questions today.
In addition, he spoke about the ability we have at Net4things to enable companies from industries such as Telecommunications to launch mobility services. Companies that two, three or five years ago did not see themselves actively participating in the mobility sector. We transform mobility data into use cases with enormous value for companies.
Sylvia Rausch, Marketing Manager of Saba Group, Jordi Caus Roqueta I SEAT MÓ, Moritz Meenen, CEO and Co-founder of ElectricFeel Shared Electric Mobility and Pablo Campos-Ansó Fernández, Founder of guppy also participated in this panel.
Thank you very much for having us at this panel. We hope to see you in the next edition!
