Mónica de Oriol

Founder and NON-EXECUTIVE President

Entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience, Mónica holds a degree in Business and Economics from Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and in European Union Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), and additional post-graduate diplomas in Management and Finance from Harvard Business School, ESADE and Instituto de Empresa (IE). Founder and executive president of Seguriber Group, Net4things and Campamento Castillo de Layos, Mónica is also active in several think tanks, as former president of Círculo de Empresarios, member of Fundación Rafael del Pino and Deusto Business School and chapter chairwoman of YPO Gold Madrid. She has also been a non-executive member of various boards of directors, including INDRA from 2008 to 2015.

Enrique Sánchez

CEO - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

As CEO of Net4Things Enrique brings the passion about people, technology and innovation and how these three elements combine to bring solutions for a better world. Enrique has an extensive experience into the IT/Telecom sector in different top management positions in Sales&Marketing, Business Development and General Management. He has been trained at some of the best business schools around the world, IESE, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School and IMD. He is an extremely proactive individual with a proven track record in accelerating, developing markets/businesses and implementing new bold forward-thinking projects. Among others market recognitions, in 2017 was recognized by Cisco Systems with a Worldwide Award. Enrique has two daughters and likes good music with family and friends.

Carlos Moya

COO – Chief Operating Officer

Carlos holds a Computer Science Engineering degree (#1 rank) and a master´s degree in Software Architecture (with honours). He has built a strong technical background at Ericsson in his 8 years as solution architect and program and service delivery manager, becoming the youngest program manager worldwide at the age of 28 (Orange Group account). He also became part of the Global Rapid High Potential talent pool one year later, being recognized by Ericsson as one of the 250 most talented employees early in his career with the potential of reaching an executive position within a short period of time. At the age of 30, pursuing new challenges, he joined Net4things to lead the Operations team.

Fran Rodríguez

CRO – Chief Revenue Officer

Specialist in Aerodynamics and Power&Engine (Pratt&Whitney), Fran holds a degree in Aeronautics by EIA (Spain) and two MBAs from Instituto de Empresa (IE) and IESE. He boasts more than 25 years of managerial experience with telecommunication equipment and global mobile service providers. Fran is widely recognized as a prosperous entrepreneur in the telco market, and has founded several successful companies, such as Landata/Lanmóvil (part of the IBV Group), and Dominion (listed). Fran is also active as an executive and non-executive board member and shareholder of companies belonging to different sectors, such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, wholesalers, software development and consulting.

José Luis López-Schummer

José Luis is an expert in the automotive market. His professional career started in 1983 working for Arthur Andersen & Co. Since 1988 he has worked for the Daimler Group where he is currently VP for Financial Services in Spain and has successfully held different positions. He developed the Spanish dealer network, managed the truck and passenger car division in Spain and led worldwide sales for the van division at HQ. Between 2009-2016 he also served as president and CEO of Mercedes Benz Spain, where he is currently CRO for Iberia and LATAM. He is also former president of ANFAC and the German Chamber of Commerce.

Luis Alvarez Satorre

Luis holds a master´s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. He completed his Business education at Tuck University, IMD and ESADE and is currently CEO of SIA Group, an Indra Company, and chairman of Islalink, a submarine cable company. He is the former CEO of BT Global Services, a global telecommunications leader, and has spent over 30 years in leadership roles at Ericsson, IBM and Santander Group. He is author of Amazon Best Seller, “Becoming a 3DCEO”, a book about what it takes to be a CEO in the digital age. As a digital advisor, Luis is supporting companies with their growth and development agendas. He is also an active investor in startups.

Isla Ramos

Isla Ramos holds a Business Management degree from Universidad Complutense of Madrid and an MBA from ESADE. She has more than 20 years of experience in the IT sector in companies such as IBM and Lenovo, where she has been general manager for Iberia and executive director of Business Transformation for Lenovo EMEA. She has more than 10 years of experience in large business transformations, including digital business optimization and post-merger management. She has a passion for the non-profit and education sectors, and today she is deputy CEO for Save the Children. She still remains connected to the IT sector as VP of the Business Innovation & Tech Club at ESADE Business School and as a teacher in several business schools. Isla has also been a board member of the publicly held company EZENTIS.

Carlos Severino

Carlos is a strategy consulting partner at EY-Parthenon, head of the Spanish TMT and Digital practices. With over 20 years of experience in the strategy consulting field in companies such as Strategy&, Booz&Company, Oliver Wyman, Diamond Cluster and Europraxis, he has relevant expertise in complex turn-around processes, post-merger integrations, performance improvement programs and launch of startups and new business models. Carlos actively participates in the startup ecosystem as investor, founder and board member of several startups in multiple sectors, including mobility, transportation, retail & consumer, collaborative economy, education, clothing, marketing and technology. He also advises startups in technology implementations such as connectivity, big data, AI and automatization.

Roberto Saint-Malo

Roberto holds a degree of Computer Science with Summa Cum Laude honours from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard University. He started his career as a consultant at McKinsey and since 1995 he has focused on sourcing, executing, and managing PE and VC investments. In 2002, he co-founded Spanish VC firm Adara Ventures, serving as managing partner until 2010. In 2011 he founded BetaAngels, an investor group formed by accomplished company builders and professional investors, currently active in Europe, Israel and the US.

José de Cabo

José holds a Business Administration degree from ICADE and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He started his career as a venture consultant and then joined Roland Berger as a strategy consultant. He has more than 10 years of experience in the startup world, both as an entrepreneur and as a business angel. In 2010 he co-founded Olapic, which was acquired by Monotype in 2016. He then co-founded Remotely, which helps startups build and retain high-performing, remote engineering squads to scale faster and more competitively.
